A question from Helen: Hello, I am contacting you to see if you would be able to advise me where to go and if there is a remedy that my father can use. He is diabetic and has been suffering from a cellulite infection in his foot for the past month. He is under medical control and has been prescribed antibiotics and painkillers.
He is also waiting for the results of some tests he has undergone. The problem has improved but is still not cured and the antibiotics that he is taking are damaging his stomach. Are there any homeopathic treatments that could be combined with the traditional treatment to speed up the healing process? Many thanks.
Answer from HO – Homeopathy Online:
Hello Helen, first of all I would like to thank you for your enquiry.
The best advice we at Homeopathy Online can give you is to make an appointment with a homeopathic doctor.
Diabetes is difficult to treat with Homeopathy.
The best thing to do is to visit a homeopathic doctor.
I am sure that a specialist would be able to prescribe a homeopathic remedy that can be used alongside conventional medicine.
Homeopathic treatment is tailored to each individual person, so the homeopathic remedy would differ depending on the particular symptoms of this case of cellulitis.
A few of the remedies that could be prescribed may be: Apis 30C (for pain, inflammation that improves with the cold…), belladonna 9 – 15C (if the cellulitis has a very shiny appearance, is reddened and radiates heat…) or Graphites 30C.
You need to bear in mind – what may have caused the cellulitis? Is it a bacteria? There are many important details to take into consideration when homeopathy is prescribed.
