5 homeopathic remedies to soothe teething pain

Five homeopathic remedies to soothe teething pain. Babies’ first teeth usually appear at around 6 months of age. Children have most of their milk teeth by 2 years of age.

Our little one goes through a short period of suffering each time a new tooth starts to poke through.

The weaning process usually takes place at around 6 months of age, meaning that the transition from a purely liquid diet to one that includes solids can cause digestive upset in babies. The combination of teething and weaning can be quite traumatic for the little one.

Which symptoms can we notice in our baby?

Our baby may have an aching jaw with sore, swollen, red gums. The production of saliva also increases. Usually our baby will also be restless and may even have a temperature.

To self-soothe, the baby may bite his fist or any object within reach. Our baby cries frequently. At night, he cries, sleeps erratically and wakes up often.

Dosage examples

If the pain is very severe, we will give 5 granules of each chosen remedy to our baby every 30 minutes for 2 hours. We will take a break for 2 hours to allow it to work.

Once the symptoms have improved, we will give our baby 5 granules every 1 or 2 hours.

The doses will be spaced out depending on whether we can see an improvement, until we reach up to 5 granules, 3 times a day.

A tip from from Homeopathy Online

For your convenience, you can dissolve 10 granules of each remedy onto a 80ml bottle and give a little bit to your baby every hour.
