Cold sores: How to cure them with homeopathy

Homeopathic remedies for cold sores: Mouth ulcers are lesions that appear in the oral mucosa and tongue. These ulcers are painful and annoying.

When choosing a homeopathic remedy for mouth ulcers it should be considered whether they are isolated or if there are several, the location, if they are on the gums, palate, tongue or throat and finally, their appearance, if they are whitish or bleeding.

Mouth ulcers: Homeopathic remedies

Arsenicum album 5C: to treat painful lesions that appear on the side of the tongue and improve with heat.

Borax 5C: to treat a sore that is located on the gum and is isolated. This sore bleeds on contact with food and is painful.

Kalium chloratum 5C: given if Borax is ineffective.

Kalium bichromicum: it is prescribed in deep ulcers with yellowish secretions underneath.

The ulcerations are located in the throat and tonsils.

Nitricum acidum 5C: it is prescribed in clear cuts or cracks, and bleeding ulcers with sharp outlines.

The pain is throbbing with a feeling of having a “splinter”. The pain worsens with cold or contact with food.

Mercurius corrosivus 5C: there are many sores and they are painful.

To complete the treatment of mouth ulcers, do rinses with a Plantain mother tincture.

The mother tincture is diluted in warm water.

Another alternative to cure mouth ulcers is to use “Plantspray” of the Boiron laboratory.

It is applied topically and is very effective in wounds or sores. It is sold in pharmacies.
